Buckwheat bread with nuts. Super easy. Super healthy. You have to try this recipe.
When there is no flour in local shop and due to the quarantine you don’t want to travel to another city to buy flour, this bread is for you! Recipe found on www.skutecznie.tv.
Ingredients you need:
- 2 glasses of buckwheat groats
- 1 tea spoon of salt
- optionally 1 table spoon of vinegar
- water
- optional any additions you like: herbs, nuts, garlic, raisins etc.
To prepare the bread you need 2 glasses of buckwheat groats. Rinse them thoroughly couple times with fresh water to wash out all the dirt. Place buckwheat into the jar, or bowl (the best glass). Add 2 not full glasses of water (water should be around 1 cm above the buckwheat level). Top the dish with kitchen towel and leave for 24h to pickle. You can check buckwheat from time to time and stir with a wooden spoon to make sure groats pickle equally.
After 24h you should smell a delicate sour scent. Add salt and blend the groats for dense mixture (not completely smooth). Add your favorite adding, I used mixed nuts. Bake your bread in 180C degrees for around 60min traditional heating.
